Broken or non-working parts Parts break, come unglued, get stuck, fall off. Let me fix it so that you can get the most from playing your piano (and don't have to remember that the Bb below middle C doesn't work right).

Broken, missing or old strings Broken, missing strings can put stress on the hammers when they are not hitting all the strings they are designed to hit. And in certain places missing a string can cause the dampers to not damp the sound properly. I carry replacement wire and a variety of universal bass strings. Sometimes the old string can be salvaged. Sometimes it's better to put on a new string. A custom-made bass string might be better than a universal bass string. Let me check it out.

Changing the piano's sound Much can be done to adjust the sound of a piano, from making a dull piano sound brighter or a harsh piano sound more mellow. There are a lot of different techniques involved in voicing including a variety of string adjustments as well as hammer adjustments. Let's get your piano sounding its very best!
